Determined to write a successful screenplay, John Harbert (TONY MAGGIO) settles into a run down show business rooming house on the dark side of Hollywood, just off Sunset Boulevard. The killer could've been any one of the Hollywood hangers-on who are his new neighbors: The washed up movie queen. Her bizarre caretaker. The embittered ex-child star. The sleazy porno director. His erotic leading actress. Or perhaps her violently jealous boyfriend.
The one person John is convinced didn't kill the writer is the one person the police think did: Gina Darnell (MONIQUE PARENT), the coldly beautiful porno actress with whom John finds himself falling in love. As he falls deeper into her spell, John starts writing a screenplay that might just solve the real-life murder-or lead to his own.
