Description: Gabriel Byrne stars as Hugo Buckton - a powerful, rich man who has the respect of many, but a man being eaten up by the fear that his wife is having an affair.
This fear, which quickly leads to obsession, causes Buckton to spend many nights drinking in the company of old friends. While driving home from one such night he runs over a young woman. In panic, Buckton and his friends drive on leaving the hideously injured woman to die. Everyone in the car swears a pact of silence. But was it simply an accident, or could it have been a husband's crazed attempt to kill his supposedly promiscuous wife? And if so, will he try again?
Gabriel Byrne, Amanda Donohoe and an outstanding supportng cast turn in excellent performances that make Diamond Skulls one of the truly great thrillers of the nineties.
